Hardcover Paperback
I hated it when the covers of this series were changed. The redesigned cover (paperback) is not horrible, but compared to the original, it kind of sucks. That's my major issue with the covers; it's not as good as the 1st cover. Not only is the 1st cover gorgeous, but it seems a bit more relevant to the story and less generic (there are numerous YA books with girls on the cover).
Final Verdict: HARDCOVER
